The SurlyCast – Episode 1
A conversational gaming podcast. In our pilot episode we discuss Jason’s Game of the Year list for 2013, the announcement of the PlayStation Now game streaming service, and the rise of the Steam Machines. We also tumble down the rabbit hole of Lindsay’s vanilla WoW habit.
My fiancee Lindsay and I have created a couple of podcasts together previously, both of them dedicated to specific games, and both of them short-lived for one reason or another. I’ve been wanting to do a broader gaming podcast for awhile now, one that captures the typical conversations we have about gaming across all platforms, what games we’re playing, what we’re looking forward to, what’s in the news, and so on. Now that 2014 is here, it seemed like the perfect time to give it a shot!
In this episode we take time to talk about recent changes to LRMs, the introduction of the Blackjack, and the announcement of the Victor assault mech.
A conversational podcast dedicated to Mechwarrior Online. In our pilot episode we discuss our introductions to the Battetech universe, the current state of the game, and our hopes for where it’s going.
In episode 3 we talk about how we’ve been spending time in Tyria, including our first experiences with dungeons, massive world events and the island of Orr.
It’s just the tip of the iceberg!
Remember you can also check out the audio version on iTunes or via the RSS feed on the podcast’s main page.
The gang is back together to discuss the launch weekend of Guild Wars 2! We cover everything from questing, crafting and personal stories to world versus world and structured PvP. The only question we don’t answer is if Mark will ever get any cinnamon rolls!
Thanks for joining us!
